Executive Overview

The National Research Oncology Center (Kazakhstan) cordially invites researchers, clinical scientists, healthcare professionals, and academic leaders to submit scientific abstracts for the flagship international conference, "ONCO FUTURE KAZAKHSTAN 2026."

This global forum serves as a nexus for international expertise, highlighting cutting-edge developments in precision oncology, nuclear medicine, theranostics, artificial intelligence, translational research, and multidisciplinary cancer management.

All accepted submissions will undergo rigorous peer review and will be published in a Special Issue of the peer-reviewed journal Oncology, Nuclear Medicine and Transplantology (ONMT).

  • Overview: Reserved for original, high-impact scientific research integrated directly into the official Scientific Programme.
  • Format: Microsoft PowerPoint (Landscape Orientation).

3. Publication Only

  • Overview: Designed for international authors unable to attend in person. Accepted submissions are published alongside active conference proceedings in the ONMT Special Issue.

Submission Guidelines & Requirements

  • Official Languages: Submissions are accepted in English, Russian, or Kazakh.
  • Submission Portal: Exclusively via the ONMT online management system at Editorial Park (ONMT Portal).

Formatting Specifications

  • Document Type: Microsoft Word document (.doc / .docx).
  • Font & Layout: Arial, 12 pt font, single line spacing, 2 cm margins on all sides.
  • Length: Maximum 1 A4 page.
  • Visual Elements: Content must be strictly textual—no figures, tables, charts, or non-standard abbreviations are permitted. Each abstract must be submitted as an independent file.

Abstract Content & Structure

Abstracts must be formatted as comprehensive, structured scientific briefs including:

  1. Background (Introduction)
  2. Objective
  3. Materials and Methods
  4. Results
  5. Conclusions
  6. Keywords: Maximum of 6 keywords (Authors are strongly encouraged to align keywords with Medical Subject Headings—MeSH terminology).

Author Metadata Requirements

Every submission must include complete author credentials:

  • Full Names & Academic Positions / Titles
  • Institutional Affiliations, Cities, and Countries
  • Official Email Addresses for all authors and co-authors

Comprehensive Scientific Scope

Abstracts addressing innovation across the entire oncology spectrum are welcomed, including but not limited to:

  • Policy & Digital Health: Healthcare management, financing, international cooperation, and global leadership in oncology; artificial intelligence and digital oncology.
  • Diagnostics & Theranostics: Nuclear medicine, theranostics, radiation oncology, advanced imaging, screening, and early diagnosis.
  • Subspecialty Oncology: Neuro-oncology, thoracic, urologic, breast (and lymphedema management), gynecologic, hemato-oncology, upper/lower gastrointestinal, and hepatopancreatobiliary malignancies.
  • Advanced Interventions: Robotic & minimally invasive oncologic surgery, interventional oncology, and oncologic transplantation.
  • Translational & Precision Care: Personalized medicine, immuno-oncology, clinical trials, rare tumors, sarcomas, melanoma, translational research, rehabilitation, palliative care, and specialized oncology nursing.

Review Process & Publication Terms

  • Peer Review: The Conference Scientific Committee will systematically evaluate submissions based on scientific quality, methodological rigor, originality, clinical relevance, and presentation clarity.
  • Publication Rights: Submission indicates consent for publication in the ONMT Special Issue. The Editorial Board reserves the right to make minor textual edits that preserve the underlying scientific integrity. Authors hold sole responsibility for data accuracy.
